Everyone-
We have flex this muscle we have. Our opposition is overwhelming the media with anti-cancellation, anti-borrower hit pieces. See Letters-to-the-Editor from our members over the past week here, here, here, and here.
Anyone can do this. It takes little time (literally a couple of paragraphs). Say whatever you want, but please be to sure to call for the return of standard bankruptcy protections to the loans and/or the cancellation of the loans. Make it strong. Make them feel your pain! Please let us know when your letter publishes, so we can brag about it to the rest of the group, and inspire them to write their own letter. We are it, folks. We are the front line in this battle, your battle. This is what it takes, and if we don't do it, it will not happen. Please do your part. We're all in this together and we need you to join us in this fight. Alan

We’re back from our speaking engagement in Los Angeles, and getting ready to hit it very, very hard next week. See these Letters to the Editor from Lisa and Jacque in California and Texas. Will you please write your own Letter in your local, or state newspaper? This will be huge when everyone does it. This is your battle. Our opposition has, is, and will be ramping up their rhetoric in the media as the Supreme Court ponders the cancellation case before them. We need to answer that. We just published this research article that shows clearly that the Biden student loan cancellation will cost the taxpayers absolutely nothing. It also shows that all federally owned student loans can be canceled at little- or no- actual cost to the government. Please read it, vet/confirm it for yourself if you want, and share it broadly.
