Simple, quick action today: Retweet this to Kristi Noem, the Governor of South Dakota. You should also email her, and alert South Dakota news organizations. Hitting the governors (and Senators) of the states where student loan debt exceeds the state budget is is so important. They don't know this. You need to inform them, so that they will fight for their state, and with us! I hope you are starting to see the wisdom in all of this, and will play along. We have a massive muscle to flex now, but that ONLY matters when YOU help us FLEX IT! That's where this battle is won. You have no idea how important you are. Today, we are hitting the Governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp. Please re-tweet this, and follow us. Georgia is, by far, the worst state in the country (student loan debt is 169% of the state budget), so this one is particularly important... Do more than this. Forward it to Georgia news media. Contact the Governor directly through Facebook. Send it to churches, chambers of commerce, and others in the state who should care that the state is being wrecked by student loan debt. What else can you think of? We are getting great exposure in the media right now, both nationally and locally, but we need to make this week even stronger. Biden is backsliding on his campaign pledge to cancel student loans right now, and we step up, not fall back at this time...ALL OF US...INCLUDING YOU! Remember: Biden doesn't control the lending system....WE DO. Biden is a politician and we've pushed him a long ways in just the past year. He will go further- particularly when a couple of state Governors step up and tell him to cancel the loans. This is why what we are doing is so important. We are the pioneers. Today, we're blitzing the Governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker. Please retweet this, and forward it to news orgs, chambers of commerce, senators, and others in Illinois who you think need to know about this. This is how the battle is won. Today, it is being reported that for the third time in his young presidency, Biden has trash-talked the concept of cancelling student loans by executive order. Don't be too disappointed- Biden is doing about what we expected him to do. We aren't going away. This problem is not going away.
