7/26/2026 A Great Week! Hey Everyone-
We had a good week! See yesterday's livestream. We're featured in several major media outlets this week, including the Associated Press, the Independent, and other places. We have 3-4 new interview requests for people from Arizona, Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, and other places! We have to build on this momentum...our student loans depend on it- Things are worse for student loan borrowers right not more than ever, if you haven't noticed! We need your help more than ever. We are fighting our asses off on this end to very good effect, but we simply cannot do it without you. We're adding hundreds of members every day at the Facebook Group. Strength in numbers. We are REALLY needing to knock out our Gofundme. We 're 87% of the way there...Will you please help? Thanks to Judy, Linn, Bobby, Laura, Kelly, Chris, Pamela, Jaye, Dayami, Lois, and Crystal for pitching in since Monday. Please join them and make this easier on us? Thanks, also, to everyone who stepped up to be interviewed for those feature articles by the Associated Press, the Independent, and the others. Please step up. We are featured, again, today in the mainstream media (the Independent). They FINALLY, AFTER 6 YEARS, broke the news that older borrowers now outnumber younger borrowers with student loans! This should have been the headline- Not super thrilled with the piece (they try to make our members look bad, frankly, by publishing opinions from people who get their paychecks from colleges and blame the borrowers for their predicaments), but I think/hope most people will see through that. I'm glad to report that we are featured in a lead story by the Associated Press yesterday. 3 of our members were featured, and compared to other recent media on student loans, this was a VERY GOOD piece for us. Thanks to everyone who stepped up to be interviewed- Surprisingly, there were very few "hater" comments below the article compared to others. Please leave your own comment below the article. This stretch we are in is the most important of the year, folks. We are extremely busy right now. We have more interview requests for people on the Facebook Group. We're expecting a number of articles, both local and national, to come to press very soon. We're also writing an article to be published at an influential place. We're meeting with members of Congress on a daily basis. Today's action:

Lot's going on. I hope you all have noticed all the coverage we've been getting at places like the Wall Street Journal, Daily Mail, various radio stations, etc. We have many other media pieces in the offing. This all bodes well. 👉 I do, still, have to ask you all to please contribute something to our Gofundme, or through the normal channels. We really need your help on these at the moment. We're interviewed yesterday about a curious connection between Charlie Kirk and the student loan industry. We were also quoted last week about it at the Daily Mail. There are some serious questions that arise from all this, but most of all, it shows that the industry sees a very large market of distressed, conservative borrowers. So, the lie about student loans borrowers being largely liberal is just that. I do have to- still- request that you pitch-in to our Gofundme, or through the normal channels at this time. We aren't corrupted, don't do deals with the industry (like the other groups), and rely only and totally on support from you to continue this fight for you. I hope you see the value in that, and will do your part to keep us in the battle! Today's Action:

I hope you realize that the reason we have to schlepp for donations all the time is because we are an UNCORRUPTED GROUP. The ONLY way we can afford to fight this battle is from donations from normal people. We are not astroturf. We do NOT, and will NEVER sell our people out to the student loan industry. The astroturf is getting very thick right now, btw. They are injecting distracting noise into the zeitgeist almost like we've never seen before. At the end of the day, MOST ALL of these groups are trying to get you to consolidate/rehabilitate your loans, particularly if you're in default. They can make huge $$ off your back by doing this. ALL of them are business partners with the industry in some way, shape or form. Please don't be distracted. These groups are VERY GOOD at pretending to be activists, saying things you agree with, blowing smoke up your ass, etc, etc. Please be smarter than that. We need you to not be distracted. We need you to fight! I really do hope you can appreciate that, and not be sucked in by the fakes. They are poisonous to our movement and this country. Be smarter than that! -Alan |
