Good News! Interview Requests...

Everyone-
I'm glad to report that our legislation is on track for a major action before October. We're going to need your help to get this through. We'll explain this tonight, 6pm est on the live stream. Today's action:

Retweet this, and quote-tweet it to your House Rep. You can type "@" and their name in Twitter, and it will pop up.
Please donate. We currently need 28 people to pitch in $10 (or the equivalent) this week. Please help out.

Interview Requests:
If you are a veteran, a senior citizen, or you went to a trade or vocational school (ie you are doing a "dirty job", please let us know if you are willing to be interviewed. Include a paragraph or two about your situation. This is very important.
I cannot tell you how critical the coming weeks are for us. Biden's loan cancellation is looking weaker by the day...getting the leverage of bankruptcy restored becomes all the more important, regardless of what you need to happen with your student loans.

SGood news: We heard from Congress that our legislation in the House is on track to be introduced and debated this month. . Also, there has been a groundswell of opinion pieces in the past two weeks from conservatives calling for the return of bankruptcy to student loans. Here are a few:

Friday Action

Everyone-
A small but significant "win" in the ongoing battle.
I'm glad to report that our action two weeks ago to compel Attorney General Garland has gained momentum. Senator Elizabeth Warren is now joining us in our call on Garland to stop delaying the Department of Education's commitment to stop opposing student loan borrowers in bankruptcy court. Hopefully more to come on this soon...
