A Good Bankruptcy Bill…IMPORTANT!

Everyone-
We finally have a good bankruptcy bill to fight for.  With only a month before the election, we need to give this bill our full attention for the next couple of days. Republicans in a House subcommittee are key for this.  To that end: Will you PLEASE RETWEET ALL OF THESE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS TODAY?

Jim Jordan
Thomas Massie
Matt Gaetz
Darrell Issa
Dan Bishop
Victoria Spartz
Scott Fitzgerald
Cliff Bentz
Lance Gooden
Jefferson Van Drew
Ben Cline
Harriet Hageman
Nathaniel Moran
Kelly Armstrong

Also, call out news orgs on all of these.  THIS IS WELL WORTH YOUR EFFORTS.
We still need 24 people to donate $20 or more for this week.  Will you please just make this fund raising a little easier on us?
See this interview we just did about the current state of things.

➡️ Do the past 2 weeks of daily actions.  We've done great things over the past 4 years.  We have to do it again.  Now and for the next month is your time to step up and fight with usj.

Please also follow us on X.

God Speed,

Alan

I got a degree in 2012. The school (Kaiser University in FL) did NOTHING to help me get a job despite perfect attendance and a perfect GPA plus a perfect score on my MA licensing certification. I'd worked FT on a graveyard shift at the time and my commute to school was an hour each way. Not finding a job, I then lost my house, moved to a "better" job market, and have struggled in unrelated jobs since. We are now in Sarasota, where the second hurricane in two weeks hit directly. No power, car totalled, and trapped by fallen trees and a power pole. We have until end of this month to move out and hedge fund "landlords" have driven rental prices double what we can afford. Housing is insane here, and now there's less of it. In the meantime, banks get bailed out, oil companies get bailed out, farmers and automakers get bailed out, politicians get PPP loans that are forgiven completely... yet when actual working people with crap wages want financial help, we're leeches on society? This is obscene. We are NOT the greatest country in the world when at least 30 others provide free Healthcare, college, multi-week vacations, and family leave for childbirth, etc and we get NONE of that. This country is screwed up and the people need real relief. We cannot be treated as cogs in a machine who only serve to support the wealthy who do NOTHING. This kind of anger is what revolutions are born of. It's probably why the MAGAt morons were so ripe for the picking. What happens when the rest of the population rebels as well? 🤨. Student loan forgiveness would be a logical place to start righting some wrongs. Unlike the already wealthy, we'd be SPENDING that extra money and putting it back into the economy, not using it to further enslave the working class to buy another mansion, jet, yacht, or useless fripperies. There are more dangers to this democracy than Trump. It's past time to start righting some wrongs and make a country that really lives by its supposed constitutional promises--life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for ALL.
