Friday action...

Picture
Hey All-

Happy Friday!  We spoke with our contacts at the senate this week, and they tell us that all is on track with our bill. This is good to hear, but much has to happen before this gets through.  I cannot emphasize strongly enough how important this bill is for getting loan cancellation, and any other solution you may wish to see.  It is a necessary precondition for everything. So this makes our efforts all the more important.  Will you please do these things today?!
  • Retweet this to a few conservative news organizations reporters, or influencers.  Powerful stuff. Needs to get out.
  • Retweet this, this this, and this to various governors
  • "Clap" many times for the 5 articles we've published in the past 3 weeks.
 Fundraising Request:

We're going to have to raise nearly $800 next week. I'd like to get a jump on it.  We have a $50 donation challenge out from an anonymous donor in California.  Will you please take them up on it, in whole or in part?!

Thanks to everyone who stepped up earlier this week.  Will you please join them by re-upping your support, or making a first time donation?  We can't do this without your moderate support.

Things are happening quickly, folks.  Now is the time to fight.  I really hope you made a resolution to put some real effort this year into this fight, so 2022 will be the LAST YEAR of this terrible problem.

Regards,

Alan

I wish I could participate in these actions, but Twitter had suspended me from doing so. I have appealed several times, but they just respond with a form letter saying that they basically will not listen to my complaints or appeals. They won’t give me any reason why they suspended me. Student loan Justice was the only activity for which I was using twitter.

We hear that from time to time. This is happening to a few (not many) of our members. We're trying to get to the bottom of it. Sorry, btw. It may be a shadow-ban thing.

ps. Not all of our actions require twitter. About half do, but not all.

Brian, here are 7 things you can do
1) Make another Twitter account and use it.
2) Try to figure out what you did to get banned and make adjustments. Maybe you were posting the EXACT SAME comment too much, so you change a word or letter here and there. Or just slow down a little. Or use multiple Twitter accounts.
3) Do this on lawmakers' Facebook pages.
4) Do tho on their Instagram pages.
5) Do this on their YouTube accounts.
6) Call both your US SENATORS. Numbers are posted elsewhere on Alan's page AND at the link on top of MY page (click my name above).
7) Contact your Member of Congress. Numbers for your member of Congress are posted by clicking on the links at the link on top of MY page (click my name above).
8) Bonus- write letters to the editor and call in to radio shows AND call and email local news media.
