If you happen to live in Florida, Texas, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, Tennessee, or N/S Carolina, it is extremely important that you tell both of your senators to cosponsor S.2598. I hope/expect to see some very good news break before the end of the year. More on this shortly. Today is day 2 of our Senate Blitz. Call both of your Senators. Try to get through to a human person. Tell them strongly to cosponsor and publicly support S.2598. Tell them that the Founders called for bankruptcy rights ahead of the power to raise an army in the Constitution. If your senator is republican, push even harder: tell them Josh Hawley and John Cornyn are already cosponsoring the bill. After calling their DC office, call the local field office closest to you, and do the same thing. Tell them you'll be watching closely, and following up with them shortly. This blitz is of the utmost importance. Your job is not done until you make these calls. Also: We still need to raise $140 by the end of the week. Will you please step up and pitch in for this?
