We're asking everyone to send a message like this one to the President before tomorrow. Also, will you please retweet this, this and this? These daily actions really help! 👉👉 We're hoping very much that 500 people will pitch-in $20 today to our Gofundme, or through the normal channels. We're 65% of the way down, now, and this would allow us to focus on the fight through July! Will you please just help and make this fundraising a bit easier on us? Please remember, folks: We have, by far, the largest muscle in the country for fighting for REAL student loan justice. The other, corrupted groups will never do it. It really is up to us. Next week we're doing a full court press in Congressional districts across the country. We are REALLY going to need your help with them. Please tell me you are up for the fight. We're asking you to send a message like this one to the President today if you haven't yet this week. When we did this in 2022, we wound up on Fox News, which was good. If everyone reading this does this, it will make a huge difference. Will you also please chip-in to our Gofundme or through the normal channelsat this time? We rather urgently need to raise ~$300 by Monday to (literally) keep our lights on. We could have our fundraiser knocked out completely if even 1000 people chipped in $10. These are the worst of times for us borrowers, but our argument, and all the data, have never been more strongly in our favor. We're seeing joins on our Facebook group hugely increased right now, too...so now is exactly the right time for us all to put the pedal to the metal and ACTUALLY FIGHT! The battle continues. Today, we're asking everyone to send a message like this oneto the President. Recent data shows that 75% of all borrowers aren't paying, and defaults are screaming upward. The President knows this can't continue, and that student loan voters will be turning hard against the Republicans in the mid-terms if he doesn't do something, so I see a real shot for us here! 🙏 We are really needing people to either pitch-in to our Gofundme, or donate through the regular channels, folks. If 30 people could chip in $20, we'd be set for the week. Will you please help? Great thanks to Michelle, Donald, John, Sean, Vincent, Carol, Scott, Donna Lee, Carolyn, Jennifer and Elliot who helped over the past few days. Will you please join them? I truly believe that more people will begin financially supporting us going forward as long as we keep doing good work- we're seeing a big spike in new members over the past few months- but it may take some time for them to see that. I cannot tell you how important you all are for keeping us in this fight during these very difficult times... 👉 This week, we are sending strong letters to various university Presidents. They can no longer ignore us. I hope and pray and believe that they will come around to agreeing that they have an obligation to volunteer, collectively, to do their part to ensure that bankruptcy protections are returned to these loans. Just the wealthiest 5 schools could pay half the cost of bankruptcy discharges and barely even notice it. They are THAT wealthy! Will you also consider sending such a letter to your alma mater? She does very good work. She is embarking on a project to do "man in the street" interviews for us in Chicago, where she'll be interviewing people where they live to show the country just how badly people are being hurt by these loans.
